Google Updates Most of its Apps for Android

  • In only one day Google has updated most of their apps for Android. While most improvements may seem minor they are a welcome addition to the apps we most frequently use. We are talking about Street View, Movies, Wallet, Shopper, Play Music and Drive.


    Google Street View, Play Music and Play Movies & TV have been updated to include bug fixes and minor improvements. For Google Wallet the new version 1.5-R81-v4 update includes security and battery life improvements. For Google Shopper one added feature is a filter for weekly sales at featured local stores by category so you can focus on your favorite deals. You can now browse visually similar products when searching for apparel and included are improved performance and stability fixes.

    Google Drive adds updates to gesture detection, on top of the list of improvements from the previous version.  The new version number is All updates should be available now through Google Play with some apps only available in selected countries.
