Google Teases Key Lime Pie During I/O 2013, Nobody Notices (Video)
Just like at MWC 2012, where Google hid some jelly beans in a bowl at its booth, hinting at a future release, there were some hints and teasers at Google I/O as well. This time it was a video, the one shown below, that around minute 25 shows us a green robot eating a key lime pie.
Lately we’ve heard a lot of rumors about an upcoming Android 4.3 Jelly bean release, so Key Lime Pie seems far away, in the remote future. Later in the video, Google also showed a game that mentions key lime pie, Chrome and Jelly Bean. Leaks on the web have shown this version floating around on devices out there, with a supposed Android 5.0 device being spotted already in benchmarks.
Meanwhile, Android 4.3 is said to debut either on a white Nexus 4 in June or on the new Nexus 7 in July. It’s said to bring support for Bluetooth Low Energy among others. Do you think that version 4.3 is Key Lime Pie or 5.0?
