  • Google has a variety of communication platforms, services and apps, that will be united into a single app, called Babble. We’re talking about Google Voice, Talk, Google+ messages and Hangouts, that are all pretty good products and will now become one.

According to Geek.com, who cites multiple sources Google is looking into unifying all its communications services in one place. Babble is being built as a future solution that will work on all hardware platforms. The app will be available on both phones and computers and supposedly it will debut at Google I/O 2013 in May. Google+ and Google Talk have been getting a lot of adopters over the past years, so uniting them and other services can be a good idea.

Google’s chat services do need a bit of work to become more modern and if Babble gives them the modern spin, we could finally get a decent rival for iMessage, BBM, Facetime and Skype. Are you ready to make the jump to this application?
