Google Posts I/O 2013 Schedule With Lots of Android Related Events
This year the Android OS is supposed to go up yet another version, though recent rumors seem a bit discouraging for those that were hoping to see Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie in action. At the Google I/O event that is going to take place at the end of the month there will be plenty to see in regards to our favorite OS and a lot more.
However you put it Google has done a great job at announcing a new Android version each year. The latest version of the OS – 4.2.2 has managed to bring lots of new features and landed on devices like the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4, but also comes pre-installed on the Galaxy S4. Recent rumors claim that indeed Google will go ahead an announce a new version of the OS, though mentions in some code provided for developers talk about Android 4.3 – rather than 5.0.
The version of the OS that is supposed to be announced at I/O this year is said to be still Jelly Bean, though with a number of improvements. The I/O schedule that has just been posted seems to be divided equally for each day between the cloud, social and productivity Google apps. The unmarked dates are expected to be the surprise announcements in regards to what Google has planned. In any case be sure we’ll pay close attention to all announcements and provide detailed info.
