  • With the latest release of the Play Store -version 3.8.17 – Google enabeled the option to redeem Gift Cards. Next they officially confirmed $10, $15, $25, and $50 Gift Card options available. Only today they took the list of improvements even further and enabled personal app recommendations.

Google Play Store Adds Personal Recommendations

You can tell right away from the Play Store start screen that there is a new section available. Pressing the ”Recommended for You” row will take you to an apps list containing a large number of recommendations based on what you previously installed / purchased. With this new feature Google wants to simplify the process of finding new apps out of the increasing number available.

The “Recommended for You” section in the web-based Play Store has been around for little over a month and now is finally coming to the Play Store app for Android. We expect Google to further simplify the app discovery service with the introduction of new methods to find great apps.
