  • It has been leaked, it has been dissected and said to come separately from Android 4.4. Now Play Store 4.4 is here as an unofficial download, available below, courtesy of a mirror link from Android Police.

This released offers a gestured-base menu navigation and instead of a dropdown, the new Play Store will get a slide out navigation, that’s so popular on many other Google apps like Gmail. This Play Store also brings a special icon for Newsstand, that’s rumored for a debut on October 24th, when Google is holding a special Play Store event in New York.

The mirror download is here, if you’re the kind who likes to take a risk every now and then. Of course, there are various bugs and problems to face and some users are reporting that the ap refuses to see web connections and times out. How about you? Does it work for you?
