Google Play New Design Leaked in Screenshot, Babel Chat Almost Confirmed
Google isn’t the first company that comes to mind when you think about leaked products, since they keep their secrets well, but considering that Google I/O 2013 is coming next month, we should see at least some signs of leaks. Those signs may include the screenshots below, confirming the existence of Babel and the new UI of Google Play.
Google Play Store version 4.0 integrates all the stores into a single hub, selling books, movies, TV shows, music, games, books, magazines and apps in a single place. The interface is simple and every segment you get into (like Books) has a main title as the headline and a list below. It’s very likely that the headline is swipe-able, so you can see various other featured content.
The lists and main categories aren’t filled with huge images like the previous Play Store, so everything is more compact and concise. In other news, Babel has also leaked, as shown in the tiny screenshot below. Google is said to be preparing to get rid of Google Talk and unify this service with the Messenger in Google+, then call it Babel. It appears that this move can be spotted if you move conversations to the trash.
