  • Google Music was launched as an app in beta phase last year and now it reached version 4.3.606. The change is primarily one of the interface, visible in each and every menu of the application. The recently played screen now shows bigger album art, while the action bar has been tweaked with various transport controls.

You can now adjust and reorder music in the Now Playing queue, plus there’s a revamped widget showing the album art and allowing you to give a song thumbs up without having to open the whole app. In the settings menu you’ll find a link to the Nexus Q control app, which comes in handy if you own one. Since I mentioned the Nexus Q, its arrival was the one that caused the live playlist reordering feature to appear. This means you can change the order of the upcoming tracks on the go.

The playlist art is now made from album art of songs n the playlists and the Now Playing queue allows the user to both queue and reorder his currently playing music. The modifications aren’t that vital, as they were in the previous update, but still it’s a welcome enhancement. You can download the app from here.
