  • Google I/O starts in just 3 days and it will include a new Android release, plus new releases of major Google apps and services. Android Police managed to snatch a copy of Google Play Services 3.1.36 and got some fresh Google Play Games details out of it.

They’ve torn down the APK and found that the strings file has gone from 300 to 700 entries and there’s Google Play Games mentioned in there. Google+ is the centerpiece of all services and it will be handling the notifications. The service will bring synced game saves, icon badges and achievements, invites and matchmaking for multiplayer games.

Scoring and leaderboards were also spotted, just like the ones we already see on Google+ games. Keep in mind that the dissection is not done and we may see more leaks in the following hours. I like the fact that we’re finally going to be able to sync game saves.
