  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean’s Google Now feature has been updated by Google, receiving some interesting features. Google Now was known up until now as a virtual assistant rival to Siri, providing data about weather, traffic, sports and more, some of them displayed before the user even asked it.

Now the update gives you notification cards and the option to edit teams. Google launched the update this morning, focusing on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean devices, that support Google Now. The changelog of the update includes movies now, allowing to see movie showtimes and more, public alerts, that allow you to receive emergency messages like storm warnings and earthquake alerts and the ability to add a favourite sports team to follow in real time, from the Settings area.

There’s also support for Korea and now you can search for movie times and get alerts in your area, based on your location. Public alerts for local weather are also displayed and considering the hurricane problem in USA now, this is good news. Did you update yet?
