  • Google Music has received a fresh update, that takes it up to version 5.3.1316 and implements a few changes, including some UI ones. With this update we get the option to store cached music to the external SD card and share music with the world.

There’s also a minor UI change that is felt in the slideout menu, that now gets bold letters instead of grey backgrounds. In order to store stuff to the SD, you need to have a device with a microSD card slot available. Once that’s confirmed, you need to enter the Music Settings and see the option at the bottom of the Downloading area.

There you can tap the action overflow menu to share songs, while viewing or listening to albums and tracks. The option “Share” will be there for you. The rollout is gradual here, so you can try your luck with the Play Store here or do sideloading from this link here.
