  • Google debuted its long awaited mobile web version of the Play Store this week and we’re talking about a fully functional version here. Previously, if you wanted to navigate the Play Store website on a mobile device, it was a pretty painful experience, since you were forced to use the desktop version of the site.

The mobile version of the Play Store is shown in the screenshots above and it’s fully functional, complete with smooth navigation. That is due to a slideout navigation panel. So, everything you can do with the Play Store app and the one on the desktop can be done with the mobile one as well. An advantage here is that you can purchase devices with the mobile web version, which is something that the Play Store app still lacks.

One can also install apps to the device with this mobile Play Store, if the app interface is not to their liking. You can check out the new UI by accessing on any mobile device. Got feedback? Leave in the comments area.
