  • As Play Music and Drive before it, Google Chrome has also benefited from a new version. It brings interface improvements and some tab features, along with tablet interface optimisations. Chrome browser offers a new browsing experience on all Android devices.

Following Google I/O 2013 the software giant has announced changes to most of its apps for the Android platform. Following Google Music and Drive, Chrome Browser has now been updated to include some of the features tested in one of the latest Beta releases.

The stable version of Google Chrome now offers full screen browsing, with an option to hide the toolbar. Another notable change refers to the search engine, now offering options to view and refine your query directly in the omnibox. Tab history options on tablets and stability improvements are also included in the changes. Get the new version of Chrome for Android from the Play Store.
