  • Google just released the Calendar app onto the Google Play Store, in a fresh update version, that you can play with on your device. You can experience Google Calendar on devices that run Android 4.0.3 or later and know that the application displays events from all the Google Accounts synced with your Android device.

Among the options available in the app there are the ones that allow you to create, edit and delete events. You can also view all calendars at the same time, including non Google calendars. You can also quickly email all event guests from a notification with a customizable message. Interestingly enough there’s a special list of issues with HTC devices for this application, mentioned in the Play Store.

For example, the day and week views may give you trouble on some HTC devices. Notes and pictures may be removed from all calendar events, but they may still be available in the HTC Notes app. Local unsynced events may be lost after installing Google Calendar and notifications may fail to make sounds unless the HTC calendar app is disabled, so be careful about that. The app is available here for free.
