Godzilla Strike Zone Review (Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2): Worse Than the Movie… (Video)
I’d like to start off by saying that I didn’t like the new Godzilla movie, because it was a pretty big mess and Bryan Cranston wasn’t featured enough in it. Now with that off my chest, let’s analyze the official Godzilla Strike Zone game.
The title is available for free and I played it on the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet. This one is a very short title, with about 15 minutes for you to play. The controls are also pretty bad implemented, since I had a hard time playing the HALO Jump mission without dying repeatedly. There’s a flying section first, where you tilt your device to make your paratrooper avoid the other guys flying and then comes a so called FPS.
That’s the part where you walk around a ruined city and avoid debris, plus try to shoot random objects to clear the path. That’s pretty much everything you’ll be doing in this game, aside from leaping, sneaking around and looking at collapsed buildings. The graphics are decent, but nothing more than that, but the gameplay is truly uninspired. The atmosphere is pretty good, but that doesn’t save Godzilla Strike Zone from boredom.
I’ll give this game a 5.5 out of 10 and I’m being kind here… You’ll probably download it from here, if you really want to play a mediocre game.
