Gmail 4.2 With Pinch-to-Zoom and Swipe to Archive/Delete Ready for Download (Video)

  • It has been recently leaked that Google in working on releasing a new version of their mobile email app for Android. Version 4.2 is supposed to bring a number of highly expected features that users have been begging for for a very log time. It is also one of the top priority issues on the Google pages for app troubleshooting.


    Gmail 4.2 is currently in development buy already it has been leaked for download. Android Police managed to post a video of the new features introduced in the new version. The main highlight of the new app is the introduction of the long overdue pinch-to-zoom feature inside emails. Another great feature is the ability to swipe an email and have it archived, or deleted or both, depending on the option you choose.     Download the new Gmail app (4.2 build 478) from here. Installing it as any APK will likely not work so you will need to delete the old version of the app, including the .odex file, move the new version to the system dir and set permissions RW-R-R.
