Giana Sisters is a “Female Mario”, Now Priced Lower in the Google Play Store

  • If you liked Mario, you’ll also like a game called Giana Sisters, that was big back in the days of the Commodore 64 console. The title is now priced at $1.69, a price reduction from the $3.99 normal price tag. This title takes up a mere 5.6MB and in case you’re wondering, the special offer lasts till June 26th.

    This game is more than 20 years old and it was one of the first Jump and Run titles from the Commodore ear. This version is made by Kaasa. What you get in the Android version of Giana Sisters is a collection of 80 new levels, 32 retro levels, with completely new design. The graphics were also revamped specifically for the modern port of the game. Controls were also adapted for this release and for a touch experience. The game offers 5 languages: English, German, Spanish, Italian and French.

    For Xperia Play owners, know that the game is optimized for your phones, so you can use the physical buttons on the handset. Special versions for different Android graphics chips are available and downloads take place automatically depending on the device. 10 new levels are available as an in app purchase, as well.
