  • Most Android devices offers some kind of brightness settings, accessible via a dedicated menu or shortcut. There is also the option to have the brightness on automatic adjustment, using the light sensor, but on some devices the setting dims the screen to a level where it becomes difficult to read.

Velis Auto Brightness plans on relieving you of having to adjust the display settings manually. As with the Auto-Brightness setting offerd by default with most Andrid devices, Velis aims to provide the best possible brightness experience by using your devices sensors to determine the environment you’re in.

Unlike the default fature, using Velis you will gain full control over the brightness level in each enviroment. You can set it so you will never have to tamper with the display settings again. It also supports additional brightness setting for when your device is charging so that you can have a brighter display when power is not an issue and offers control over each device’s sensors. It was rigorously tested for minimum battery usage though on some custom ROMs it may not work at all.

Velis Auto Brightness is offerd for free on the Play Store.
