Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour Coming Shortly After December 6th Release on iOS
Gameloft just tweeted the fact that their Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour title will hit the App Store on December 6th, just in time for Saint Nicholas. It appears that last week a copy of the game leaked online, making a mess of Gameloft’s plans. As far as Android goes, the launch there will take place a bunch of days after the iOS debut.
Modern Combat 4 comes with a single player campaign and a multiplayer section, just like its predecessors. This game has been considered sort of a Call of Duty for mobile and it’s expected to try and emulate at least a few of the features of Black Ops II. In this new release you get a parkour mechanic, among others, that allows characters to leap over obstacles. The designers of the game claim that they’ve created unique gameplay situations, a new upgrade system in single player and a skill system that’s been redesigned in the Multiplayer area.
New multiplayer maps have been added, as well as a new party system to better play with friends and a new multiplayer armory. We look forward to the release of the game on Thursday and hope to see it on Android in a decent amount of time…
