  • Everyone loves the floating multiwindow mode from the Samsung Galaxy Note II, so much that they decided to make it into a port. It has already reached the Samsung Galaxy S II and now it hits the original Note, the Galaxy Note from 2011. It has not only been ported, but also evolved, thanks to the guys of XDA Developers.

Turns out that now you can even move around windows and resize them, for a full PC-like experience. That screenshots above are taken on the OG Galaxy Note, expanding on the functionality of the ROM that borrows from Note II and adding an unlimited apps multiwindow mod. The name of the release if Floating Multiwindows and it lets multiple apps run simultaneously on the screen in separate windows. All of that while you get full control over their on-screen placement.

XDA forum member Xperiacle is the one to thnak here, since he released the mod. The installation is done by editing the build.prop to prepare the mod then flash the mod itself. Xperiacle even included a bunch of tips and tricks on how to use his software, that you can download from here.
