  • If you’re a business owner who has an active client base on Foursquare, you may be interested in the new Foursquare for Business app, that’s live on the Play Store now. It rolled out on Android this week, offering business owners a new level of control over their… business.

This means you can update the information regarding the business straight from the phone. Thus, you can update the company’s page anywhere you get a mobile signal. Before Foursquare released the application, if you were a business owner, you had to enter the Foursquare website in order to make an update. This was a pain, especially on mobile. Now there’s this app and combined with the Facebook page manager it makes the work of a social media manager much easier.

Business owners can also send their updates to Facebook and Twitter, solving all the major social networking app problems right away. You can also view the recent check ins within the app and you can even control more businesses with the same app. It’s great for a business to maintain a social presence, which you’ll do by downloading the app from here.
