  • Chat Heads is one of the unique features that Facebook Home incorporates, but there are some people that like its UI. How about using that for settings? The result is an app called Floating Touch and it has recently entered Google Play Store.

The application is available for free and there’s also a pro version, with a price tag of $2.00 and some extra features. The Floating Touch spot always shows on the homescreen and it’s able to float above open apps. That “spot” can be moved around the screen and this reminds me of various customizations for UIs from Lenovo and Huawei devices.

If you tap that spot, you will open a full circle, that will offer you default options to lock the screen, clean up the memory, go to Home and open the settings folder. In this area you can access options like WiFi, Bluetooth and much more. The full circle allows you to tap the middle to launch the actual Floating Touch app.

The settings are simple, allowing you to customize the color of the wheel and the spot circle. You can download the app from here.
