  • Nvidia has unveiled its Tegra 4 platform last year and with it they announced their gaming console called Project Shield and based on the latest hardware. At the MWC this year we had the opportunity to take a peak at the reference design smartphone from Nvidia, packing the Tegra 4i chipset.

The newest platform from Nvidia is the fastest on the market today, in terms of both processing power and GPU acceleration. Since its announcement, a number of recognised developers have announced their support for the new components and the availability og top-notch titles in the near future. Now we get a chance to see what some of these are. The first that comes in mind is called Burn Zombie Burn and it is a fast-paced action title with superb graphics and animations.

Carie: Blood Mansion is another Tegra 4 optimised title that will have its players join “bloody battles” and featuering “high-res textures, enhanced physics simulations and optimized fire and smoke effects.”. RPG CODEX will have you fighting “monstrous enemies in search of an ancient document after a war in heaven.”, while Dead on Arrival 2 offers “high-resolution models and PhysX, for full-bore map destruction and even bigger explosions.”. Last but not least, RU Golf integrates “dynamic specular lighting, soft shadows, and bloom and lens flare effects.”. We are looking forward to each of them.
