  • The popular series Final Fantasy had a very nice looking re-release of the FF III title on both iOS and Android, for a pretty big price, but offering great 3D graphics. There’s also a remake of the FF IV title from the Nintendo DS that will also move to mobile, starting with iOS this month and continuing with Android in 2013.

The OG Final Fantasy IV has been fitted with bug fixes, localization and a bunch of added content probably. The game will come to the App Store on December 20th and it’s a hefty pricing of $21.77, at least in Japan. In USA it’s expected to cost $18. In anticipation of this launch, there’s also good news: Square Enix lowered a bit its huge prices for previous FF titles, so it’s good to snap one up for a lower price.

Japanese site Gamer scored some pics of the upcoming title and I have to say it looks hot, with 3D graphics and a bit of a childish character orientation. For those of you who need background, Final Fantasy IV is a game published by Square in 1991 and it follows Cecil, a dark knight who tries to prevent the sorcerer Golbez from seizing getting crystals and destroying the universe.
