  • As you know, from July 1st, Google Reader is getting canned and you should probably find an alternative for it by then. One of them is Feedly, that some people have already started using to replace their Google Reader craving. And now Feedly gets an update, that brings it more features.

Many of these improvements were tailored specifically to the Google Reader users who are making the transition to the new solution. Among others, the new Feedly brings a new search engine incorporated into the app, offering access to over 50 million news feeds. You can also share stories via Google+ straight from the Feedly share menu and the whole layout has been changed a bit for the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 users.

The official changelog mentions that we get a brand new widget, better control over the list, magazine and mosaic views and better YouTube integration. There’s also a new explore panel and a bunch of bug fixes included. Feedly developers seem to be listening to the feedback from the users, since some of these features were asked for. You can get the new Feedly here.
