Facebook Pages Manager Updated with Push Notifications Features
Even if not exactly in a good way, the official mobile app for Facebook has benefited from some improvements over the past months, making it more usable. It is perhaps the first some users install on their devices and the first to be uninstalled from others.
Facebook has added the missing ingredient to its mobile developments a while back. Facebook Pages Manager was at the beginning said to be included in the official app. Later the developers decided to make it a separate app as to not clutter the normal one, already in need of many improvements. They also went with the idea that there aren’t that many users that also own a Facebook page.
The official Pages Manager app, the only one of its kind, has to meet with very high expectations and so far it has not disappointed. Facebook has provided fast updates for it and so far it seems to be headed in the right direction. Here is the changelog for the latest version:
• Turn push notifications on or off for each Page
• Upload a photo to a specific album
• Attach a photo to a status update
• Change profile and cover photos
• Save a shortcut to a Page on your phone’s home screen
• Share links from other apps to Pages Manager
