  • As most of you I’m sure are aware, Facebook has decided to hold a very important event next week, in regards to the Android OS. With this occasion a number  of great things might happen, including a new optimised app and even a new customized OS.

A while back, Facebook through its CEO has announced the introduction of a new app, based on native Android code, rather than HTML5. This new software should provide a far better experience than before and help the social service provider get rid of all the complains it had to face since the first launch of the app. Now it seems that there is even more to expect from Facebook, as it is said that its plans include a new custom Android version based on the very popular social platform.

The new Facebook / Android platform should be available for HTC smartphones in the first run. As for later it is expected that it may arrive for other, if not most devices. The Facebook Android variant will center on the social apps that are found on the store, including what we hope will be a new version of the Facebook app. Also included will be Facebook Messenger, Pages Manager and more. The latest sources state that this version of the platform will be named Facebook Home, a very good representation of things to come. Facebook Phone anyone?
