  • We all know about the usual Evernote… well now there’s an Evernote Food out there, for keeping a food journal. If you’re a foodie you may want to remember the beast meals you’ve had in order to repeat that culinary experience in the same restaurant or using the same ingredients in your home.

With Evernote Food for Android, a free app that requires Android 2.2 and up and takes up 4.3MB of space you can capture, share and relive memorable meals. You can snap pics of the food, organize them and also make a note of the setting and fellow diners. You can also add a title to the entry, the location, tags, captions and notes attached to the pictures. Foursquare is integrated, so you can select or search for places and there’s a social networking side, with Twitter and Facebook integration.

Meals can be share with friends via Facebook or even email. Related content is also shown from your Evernote account and you can browse through meals to find that perfect lunch you had one year ago. The Evernote account gets  synced up automatically, so there’s no hassle and you can access your meal notes from the PC or other devices. The app is available here.
