  • If you own an Android device and you’re into using Evernote, you may be interested in what’s coming next. Evernote just added a brand new tool to their beta version and that’s handwriting input. This feature has been made available to a small number of users via a special beta testing.

In order to access the feature you will have to join the beta tester group, that’s pretty easy. You are required to join the Evernote beta Google+ community and then agree to become a beta tester. You have to enter the Evernote for Android App Beta Test Google+ page here and click the Ask to join button.

Once you get approved by higher ups you need to access this link to get download access. Those with Evernote installed will notice that it has an update available and if you don’t have it, just go to the Play Store. To access the handwriting feature you need to open up a new note and tap the pen icon at the top, as shown in the images in this article.

The UI will turn to a piece of graphic paper and then you can pick the color you want to write in. What do you think of this feature?
