  • Not to long ago we covered what was then the first test version for the new version of ES File Explorer, providing a new interface and extra functionality. The option that is very popular and perhaps the top most functional file explorer available on the Play Store is about to become a lot better.

The new Es File Explorer version 3 brings with it a lot of changes in terms of interface. The new design is meant to change the whole user experience for the better and also make the app better integrate with the latest versions of the Android OS. It also brings new forms of interaction, based on slide swipe gestures that you can use throughout the UI.

The developers behind ES File Explorer have found it necessary to first release the test version 3 on XDA Developers, from where users could state their opinions and report bugs if any. Now the new version has reached the public test state and is available on the Play Store. I am already sure that most who decide to get it will stick with it, as it seems to work more than adequate and provides all the features anyone could need. Here are some of the features you can expect:

    1) New UI
    2) Support Multiple Windows
    3) Send Files To Others By WiFi
    4) Support Gestures(Drag, Zoom, Slide)
    5) Fast Access
    6) New Pictures, App Managers, Root Explorer…
    7) Classic Theme
    8) New Notification and Progress
