  • Draw Race 2 is probably the most original racing game I’ve played, especially since… it’s not exactly a racing game. Launched just days ago in Google Play Store, courtesy of Chillingo, the title has you drawing the perfect course for your vehicle to follow on a race track.

The graphics are colourful and detailed, vehicles are varied and so are tracks. From Formula 1 racers and snow filled drifting hills to offroad vehicles and NASCAR arenas, everything goes in Draw Race 2. You will draw using the touchscreen of the device you’re playing the game on and create a pattern for your car to follow on the race track. During the race there’s not much you can do, aside from accelerating from time to time, thanks to an on screen button. You’ll race against up to 3 rivals and have to get gold medals in order to advance and unlock more cars.

The single player campaign offers 180 races, lots of content to unlock and the car physics are truly realistic. Detailed 3D tracks with ramps and dirt/snow will challenge you, especially in curves. Also, know that if your finger slows down while drawing this means that the car will brake at that point during the race. How cool is that? It’s a really addictive game this one and I give it an 9 out of 10. Solid racing title price at $3 and available here.
