  • The number of apps available on the Play Store is greatly increasing every day and so is the number of apps that we have installed on our Android devices. In such cases most of the software that runs in the background can cause serious system slowdowns when it should run just the way the manufacturer intended.

    Greenify

Having so many solutions available on the Store means that we need an option to manage them just the right way, keeping the ones we don’t need at a specific time hibernated. There is one other aspect to keep in mind that is more than 80% of the apps that are installed on your system automatically start with the device, taking RAM even when not used. The number of solutions available for dealing with this sort of solutions is very limited and in any case it requires advanced knowledge of the system. Fortunately now we have another solution.

The main disadvantage of the solution provided by OASIS FENG is that it requires root, though it is a little price to pay for what it offers. We have covered Greenify before and it has proven to become very popular on the Play Store. Having said that, the developer is working on another version, more efficient and providing new features. The new version 1.7 comes with a alarm statistics analysis, to reveal the last dirty secret of stealthily running apps. It is now able to detect much more wake-up causes, including widget, sync, authentication and search, and Auto-hibernation can be disabled and enabled permanently (not temporarily any more).
