  • How about a dice to improve your gaming experience on the tablet? The device is called the Dice+ Bluetooth Multi-Function Gaming Controller and it seems to be pretty simple, although there’s more to it than meets the eye.

The device is Bluetooth 2.1+ compatible and it comes with a proximity sensor, magnetic field sensor and an accelerometer. The dice is able to link itself to the tablet via Bluetooth and it turns the slate into a gameboard. Dice+ is associated to about half a dozen of free games it can interface with.

Obviously we’ve got backagamon, parcheesi and Twister, for example. In some of the games, the dice will indicate via color whose turn it is, which is pretty cool. There’s an SDK out there, so expect devs to integrate this accessory into trading card games, RPGs and more. The product is priced at $39.99 and can be found here.
