  • Spacehopper Studios has released a brand new racing game on Android, called Delta-V Racing. This is a retro space racing title, that is described by its makers as the classic WipeOut game reborn.

This new game is played from a side scrolling perspective and in the background you’ll hear the original soundtrack from UK Industrial Breakbeat musician DeathBoy. You will play against computer AI opponents or other player’s Ghosts and try to finish in first place. Aside from racing, you’ll also be using weapons to fight your rivals.

Delta-V Racing features 4 tournaments split into 36 events, all of them with multiple routes available. There’s a variety of ships to play with and 7 types of play modes are available: Race, Elimination, Collector, Time Trials and more. 8 offensive and defensive powerups are included, such as Canon, Laser, Mine, Boost, Phase Shift and many more.

The title can be downloaded from here for $0.99.
