Decisive Pictures Showing the New LG Nexus Device Surface
After so many manufacturer revealed their ultimate smartphones for this year, it’s time for Google to make the device move and launch the new Nexus device. As it was the case with the other devices, Google plans new smartphone releases each end of the year. We are used to Samsung offering the hardware for Google to release the Nexus smartphone but, as it seems it will not be the case for this year.
According to the latest info, the new Nexus smartphone will be made by LG and based on the Korean manufacturer’s flagship device – the LG Optimus G. The device will support a similar design to the Galaxy Nexus and in general the Nexus line-up. It will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with 2GB of RAM. Other features of the configuration include a 4.7-inch screen, offering a resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels and an 8MP camera.
Pictures of the LG Nexus 4 or Optimus Nexus as some would call it, have surfaced on the internet courtesy of a tech forum member that claims to have the device for testing. The same member also promised to post a video very soon, showing the device. It is expected that Google will announce the device later this month or at the beginning of next month. The device is running Android version 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, that is already available through an update for the Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus, with the Nexus S and Motorola Xoom in line to get it.
