  • Gameloft seems to keep all big movie-based games close to them this year, so after making an Amazing Spiderman game, a Men in Black III game and an Ice Age game, now they’ve developed a Dark Knight Rises title. This game will be available on iOS and Android on July 20 and from the trailers below it looks awesome.

The graphics look hot, although I certainly hope that’s what we’re getting in gameplay not only cutscenes. The use of the Batarang looked appealing and the fight sequences remind me of the gameplay in Arkham City and Arkham Asylum. Also, I’m guessing the title is based a lot on the movie, so expect to fight Bane quite a bit and his henchmen too. The date of the game’s debut coincides with the movie’s arrival in cinema, so it’s perfect!

The soundtrack also sounds great and I wonder if Hans Zimmer was also involved here, since he was the one who created the soundtrack for the movie. Seeing the graphics of the game and the fact you can control vehicles, don’t be surprised if this title takes up 1 or even 2 GB of storage.
