CyanogenMod 10 – M-Series Builds Will Be Done at the Beginning of Every Month for Selected Devices

  • The No. 1 custom ROM for Android devices is without a doubt the one built by the CyanogenMod Team. They have been working not only to bring the latest versions of the OS to supported and unsupported devices, but also to implement a number of features not found in the stock builds. CyanogenMod version 10, based on Jelly Bean, is available through nightly builds for an increasing number of devices. 


    The CyanogenMod Team has been working really hard on the version 10 nightly builds and they have decided to bring new releases for a handful of devices. The M-Series will be available as monthly builds.  These releases are “a bit more stable” then the nightly build and will be available at the beginning of every month. The CM Team did a “soft freeze of the codebase” in an attempt to stabilize the builds, so these should be more reliable than your average release.

    As expected nightlie builds will continue to be available but for those that want more stable releases while waiting for the final version the M-Series builds are the way to go. The CM team is going to decide whether to continue the M-Series project based on community feedback so feel free to state your opinion on their official forums. Here is the list of devices that will get the M-Series builds:
