  • Most users that ultimately decide to choose an Android device base their decision on the brand, carrier contract, price and other characteristics, to in the end get to the version number or the features the OS offers. Aware of such circumstances  manufacturers try to offer a most complete experience with their devices.

Not only once have we heard users complaining about the bloated interface of their Android device and the apps they don’t need or use. Such is the case with most offers these days, except the Google branded Nexus devices. And there is another popular way to go, by customizing the device with a custom ROM.

The most popular choice in terms of after market software is offered by the CyanogenMod Team. Their latest test version in terms of a build for the HTC One sits now in an Alpha stage. While the top Android smartphone offers a great deal of unique features, there are still those that prefer keeping it just for the design and running CyanogenMod. For them and all others we have a video courtesy of FlamingAiro, showing of the ROM. It’s still a long way to go before a final release but it looks like a very good start.
