  • CPU-Z is one of the most reliable diagnostic and information tools for Android devices, if you want to find out what’s inside your smartphone. The app was launched in June last year on Android and since then it has been updated a couple of times with useful features.

It also received support for more and more SoCs each time. A few months ago it received beefed up support for Intel CPUs, the option to view the OpenGL ES version and today we learn of a new update. Version 1.09 of CPU-Z is here for Android and it offers improved processor support for big.LITTLE chipsets. It also adds HiSilicon Kirin 920, Exynos 5433 and Snapdragon 815 on the list, plus it now shows Adreno GPU clock speed.

Up until now we saw the battery technology, health, temperature and voltage, but now it also shows total battery capacity in mAh. The screen size is shown in inches and we also get a new app icon, by the way. You can download the app right here, from the Play Store for free.
