Complete Details and Specs for NVidia’s Project Shield Revealed

  • This year’s CES event was marked by a strong presence from NVidia with the announcement of Project Shield for a complete Android console gaming experience on a GeForce GPU.  Product Line Manager for GeForce GPUs Jason Paul is one of the NVidia employees willing to offer a complete hands-on experience with the device.

    Androidcommunity has made en effort to collect all the videos with NVidia’s Project Shield and offers all the technical details as well as a hands-on with the console. The gaming device is powered by the barely announced Tegra 4 chip offering a boost in performance and gaming quality over the previous generation. Jason Paul is using a real and fully-operational Project Shield device at CES in Las Vegas, Nevada and is offering an in-depth look over the device.

    NVidia has invested a lot of resources into Project Shield and it is one of the most expected devices and an ultimate experience for Android gamers. One of the games to test the device is HAWKEN and it will be available soon enough, as a PC version is already available. The game offers a complete online multi-player action experience and it will be a Tegra exclusive title. Call of Duty: Black Ops II is another highly anticipated titles, streamed from a GeForce powerd PC on the Project Shield console.
