  • I doubt that you’re watching the news on a regular basis, especially on mainstream media channels, but if you do, you probably get the info from the likes of CNN. They now have a revamped Android app, with live TV streaming access available.

Live streaming has been available on both CNN and HLN for iOS since 2011 and it’s only now that it has come to Android. You need to be a subscriber to a participating cable TV service to take advantage of the live feed, so that’s the catch. The app is available for free, takes up about 5 MB of storage and it allows you to stay informed anytime anywhere.

You’ll get breaking news alerts and top stories as they develop, plus news about politics, opinion, tech, sports, entertainment and more. Video clips of various matters and live events are available, plus your favourite CNN shows are shown live, depending on your cable, satellite and telecom provider. You can get the app from here.
