  • The company Citrix recently released an improved GoToMyPC application for Android and Kindle Fire devices, that allows anyone with an Android device to access their Mac or PC from anywhere. The new software allows you to work instantly with your desktop from your mobile, with a very intuitive interface.

You can be productive from your mobile with a couple of screen touches. The features of the new Citrix GoToMyPC app include instant access to all of your files, programs and network and also the ability to work seamlessly with existing firewalls, without special config. There’s a precision mouse control, so tapping on details is solved and there’s even 300% zoom for extra details without straining the user’s eyes.

Full keyboard functionality and special keys (Alt, CTRL, Tab), as well as multitasking are offered here. Multi monitor operation and 128 bit AES encryption are present as well, plus dual passwords and end to end user authentication. Connecting via 3G, 4G and WiFi networks is available as well and the app requires Android 2.3.3, takes up 4 MB and it’s completely free. You can download it from here.
