  • While Twitter is updating its mobile apps with new features, a developer is working to bring a very popular Twitter client on the WebOS platform, to Android and  Windows Phone. We’ve covered a preview article for Carbon on Android a while back. Now it’s time for some good news.

Carbon for Twitter has been available for WebOS for a while. It received positive reviews and we could only hope for the app to be available on other platforms.  The dream started to materialize when the developers announced similar versions based on the same framework for Android and Windows Phone. For the Google platform the developer organized a closed Beta testing session and the released a statement to assure that the development is in progress and the app will be available, though no ETA was released.

Recent news concerning Carbon for Android state that the app will be hitting Google Play in a few days time. The developer announced on their official Twitter account the good news. With over 6000 flowers on Twitter, Carbon is expected to become one of the best Twitter clients available. We’ll come back with a full review as soon as it launches. Till then we’ll just have to wait and see.
