CamCard Business Card Reader Now Costs $4.99 After 66% Discount

  • If you’re looking to manage your business cards on your Android handset and never lose them, there’s an app for that! It’s called CamCard – Business Card reader and now it goes for $4.99, after a 66% price reduction, that took it down from $11.99. It requires Android 2.0 and up, was updated on June 19th 2012 and it fits in the business category.

    It takes up 12MB of space and allows you to scan business cards, recognize and save them in the Card Holder and your Address Book. It’s even able to recognize 5 languages, including English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese. All the cards can be saved within the cloud securely and in private and you can restore them in case you delete them by mistake. Cloud sync and saving cards into the address book or Gmail is available, plus Exchange account support.

    You get autodetection for text orientation, autorotating of the images and auto crop for card images, as well. You can create QR codes and share cards using this technology. All cards can be exported to vCard or Excel files and you can even send out invitations on Linkedin via this app. This app is created by IntSig and can be downloaded from here.
