Broken Sword: Director’s Cut Reaches Google Play
Oh boy, are we excited about this classic? If you’re into puzzles, mysteries and adventure games, then you probably know about the Broken Sword series. Now there’s the Broken Sword: Director’s Cut available on Android and following the story of a murder at the Palais Royale. This is a BAFTA nominated game focused on a mysterious journey to exotic places.
You’ll solve mysteries, reveal a conspiracy and get into the ideas behind the Knights Templar brotherhood. The title gets a touch interface, it costs $3.99 and allows you to control journalist Nico Collard and George Stobbart, a globe trotter and adventurer. The game’s graphics have been enhanced from the original version and there’s also a digital comic included, telling the story leading to the game’s opening moments.
Revolution Software is the creator of this great title, that was already a success on iOS and had to be remade and revamped for the latest Android devices. This is not only a port, but also an upgrade, with lots of extra stuff in the mix. The game’s install package varies with device and you get full English speech with subtitles for English, German, French, Spanish or Italian. You can download the game from here.
