  • French MVNO carrier Bouygues Telecom is preparing to launch a new service and app called SMS & You, that will sync your texts from your Android smartphone with your PC. You’re required to have a package 24/24 and Internet 3 GB for it to work, apparently.

There’s a preview beta testing of the service going on right now in France. Also, you can start a conversation on your smartphone and continue it on the computer via keyboard, once you get back home and viceversa. The company B & You is behind this, cooperating with the mysms team. The app is very transparent and fluid and everything syncs fast and live in the cloud.

The cool thing is that the destination of your text doesn’t need to be the customer of the same carrier. You can register in the beta testing here, with only 200 spots available for now. Of course, this only works in France, but I expect it to be become a trend among carriers.
