  • There’s a new Blood & Glory title out there, launched just about a week ago and it truly improves on the original. We tested the game on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet and we were very happy with the results. For one thing the graphics are stunning, characters are more varied and so are backgrounds.

This title is made by Glu Mobile, so this means you’ll be buying stuff with real money in order to make significant progress. You can use the game’s currency, but it takes time to go through battles and all that. Legend is the same static turn-based action game, that places the player in the world of gladiators and… blood, lots of blood. This is a pretty violent game, with cool moves, doges, parrys and varied weapons. There are maces you can use, swords, various sizes of shields and potions.

Amulets are also available pre-fight, in order to increase the cash, experience or other stats during the fight. The fight per se involves swiping the center of the screen to strike the enemy. There are dodge buttons on the side and a shield button at the lower part of the screen. You can counter an enemy’s strike and you’ll start a glorious strike. Also, you have a special move, that you have to charge up before using. At the top of the screen you’ll see your health, that stays depleted between battles, unless you use potions.

The story of the game is conveyed through comics and enemies are varied, including females, giants and all sorts of creepy fighters with masks and dead animals on their garments. There are a lot of challenges to face and the game is just great. We give an 9.5 out of 10 and you can download it from here.
