  • Blood & Glory was a very cool title that I loved to play on Android and iOS devices, especially because it had many combos, armors and weapons available. Inspired by Infinity Blade, this game recreated the gladiator battles of ancient Rome. Now there’s a follow-up out there called Blood & Glory: Legend, that was just previewed on the iPad and it’s said to come to Android in a few days.

Now the game has a story, one that was handled by Full Fathom Five, the publishing company of novelist James Frey. Glu Mobile has set up a great perspective here, with a gripping narrative and not just mindless hack and slash. Also in the new Blood & Glory title you get a virtual map that displays the progression of your adventure. These two additions, the story and map give the game more personality and the feeling of a very solid and strong title. You also get new fighting styles and attacks.

There will be a new set of deadly attacks that are called Glorious Strikes. Among the enemies you will encounter this time there’s a giant, huge behemoth, that makes you feel and look like an ant. New and graphically intensive arenas will be available, with graphical elements like water, mountains and fortresses included in the background. Keep your eyes peeled for an approaching release on the Play Store.
