  • Blizzcon 2013 is taking place the days and all the gamers’ eyes are set on the event and all the announcements related to Starcraft, Warcraft, World of Warcraft and such. The company finally confirmed Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, a title that’s coming to Android in 2014.

The title is compatible with the iPad among others and while the game was originally meant for tablets, it’s not coming to handsets as well. The second half of 2014 is the time frame when the game will come. Rob Pardo, chief creative officer at Blizzard showed a bunch of games running on the iPhone 5s and the game was already announced for the iPad, Mac and Windows PC.

It would be cool if we get cross platform compatibility, but not very likely. The Hearthstone title will be a card game, that uses all the famous Warcraft characters as trading cards. This will spawn a free to play collectible card game, that already entered a closed beta for Mac and PC back in August.
