  • BlackBerry officially announced today that they’re resuming the rollout of BBM for Android and iPhone customers all over the world. Over the next hours, you will be able to download the famous messaging service on your Galaxy S, HTC or whatever model you have.

You’ll see BBM in Google Play, App Store and select Samsung App Stores, being available for download for free. The app has arrived because of huge demand after an unfinalized release last month, that ended up with the app being pulled. BlackBerry itself said that in a mere 7 hours about 1 million Android users were playing with the unreleased version of BBM for Android, so imagine the thrill of using the official one.

The BBM roll out will take place according to some rules. You need to download BBM, by visiting from the browser on your handset, then install the app, open it and enter your email address in order to hold your spot in line. Then you’ll have to wait for the email from BB as you reach the front of the line and can be able to start using the service.
